Quality Pads, Right Compound
Ceramic for quiet daily driving, semi-metallic for heavier vehicles or towing. We match the pad to the vehicle and the way you drive, not what is cheapest on the shelf.
Pads under 3mm get replaced. Pads between 3mm and 6mm get a flag and a timeline. We pull a wheel, measure with a gauge, and show you the number before we quote a thing.
A pad swap is more than two parts and a wrench. Done right, it includes inspection, hardware, lubrication, and a real road test.

Every pad job starts with a rotor mic. If the rotor is within spec and smooth, the pads go on. If it is grooved, scored, or under minimum thickness, we tell you before we go further.
Anti-rattle clips, abutment shims, and slide pin boots get replaced when needed. Old hardware is the number one cause of new brakes that squeal or wear unevenly.
Slide pins cleaned, regreased with high-temp lube. Stuck pins burn through new pads in months, so we never skip this step.
Master cylinder topped off if low, and we test the fluid for moisture. If it is past due for a flush, we flag it, never force it.
Every brake job gets a test drive. Light stops, hard stops, listening for pulses or pull. If anything is off, it goes back in the bay before you ever see it.
Brakes are the one system worth doing exactly right. Here is what happens between the time you drop off and the time you leave.
Pull a wheel, mic the pad, eyeball the rotor, check the caliper for stuck pins or leaks. You get a number, in millimeters, before we quote.
Pads only, pads and rotors, or pads, rotors, and hardware. We tell you what you actually need and what can wait. No bundled add-ons you did not ask about.
Old pads out, slide pins cleaned and greased, new hardware, new pads installed and torqued to spec.
If the rotors are within spec and smooth, they stay. If not, we resurface or replace. We do not put new pads on bad rotors and call it done.
New pads need a proper break-in cycle to transfer material to the rotor evenly. We do that on the test drive, not leave it to you.
We show you the worn parts, the new parts, and any flags for next visit. No mystery work, no surprise charges.
Most pad jobs are same-day. Call (336) 370-6710 in the morning, drive home that afternoon.
Rotors, fluid, and warning signs are all part of a full brake system. Here is what to look at next.
When pads alone are not enough. Rotor measurement, warping signs, resurface vs replace, and how to tell which is right.
Old fluid absorbs water, lowers boiling point, and corrodes calipers from the inside. Two to three year service that pays for itself.
What the noise actually means, when it is harmless, and when it is fix-today territory.
